To everyone:
Please keep in mind that when trading away a "protected" player, you
need to get a good player back, or a decent player and a high draft pick.
For example. If you were to offer a top #7 WR, like Hines Ward, it
would need to be for about a 1.5 to 1.7 pick.
The QB's, RB's and WR's (6 total) that were protected pretty much equal
what would be drafted in the first 6 rounds of a new draft.
Hines Ward would go around the late 3rd to early 4th round.
So trading him for a 4th rounder in a keeper league, with a
pre-season draft, you are in effect trading him for a 10th rounder,
not a 4th.
