Our take on what "impact" some of the new crop of NFL Rookies will
have on the 2007 Fantasy Football season ....

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Buffalo-
RB Marshawn Lynch- Might get some time on the field by mid-season. Could be
the
featured back soon if McGahee is dealt away.

Carolina-
WR Dwayne Jarret - Thought he would go higher in the draft. May not make
much
of an impact in 07.

Browns-
QB Brady Quinn - Actually going into a good situation, and should be
starting
before the season is over. New OT Joe Thomas will be his protector.

Detroit-
WR Calvin Johnson - Wow, what a surprise !! The Lions take a WR at the top
of the
Draft ! Actually, they probably got this one right. He will be a stud by the
end of
the season, assuming SOMEONE steps up at QB.

Indianapolis-
WR Anthony Gonzales - Hmmm, the rich just got richer. Excellent pick at the
end of the
1st round. But will there be enough balls to go around ? Will Marvin
Harrison finally
start to slow down ??

Kansas City-
WR Dwayne Bowe - Decent receiver, but this team is in turmoil and also may
not have
Trent Green soon.

Miami -
WR Tedd Ginn jr. - Might have been a reach, some draft boards had him at
#15, others
at #12, Dolphins took him at #9, passing up Quinn. No question he is FAST,
and look at
what Hester did for the Bears last year. Not mush fantasy value unless he
becomes the #2
WR behind Chambers.

Miami -
QB John Beck - Excellent 2nd round pick. Smart. Might become the starter by
mid-season.
Already 26 years old and mature. Good size and mechanics.

Minnesota-
RB Adrain Peterson - Great pick, will be a star in the NFL, as long as
shoulder holds
up. Going into a great fantasy spot also.

Minnesota-
WR Sidney Rice - Might be a good #3 on the Vikes.

New Orleans-
WR Robert Meachem - Highly rated, and another weapon for Brees. Not much
impact from
him this season though.

New York Giants-
WR Steve Smith - Underrated, might see a lot of time on the field after a
few weeks into
the season.

Oakland-
QB JaMarcus Russel - Big, good QB. Will probably stay on bench for at least
1st half of
season. BIG offensive problems on the line though, Raiders gave up a
league-leading 72
sacks last season, and did very little to fix that. What an arm !!

Oakland-
TE Zach Miller - Not mush of a fantasy impact this season.

Philadelphia-
QB Kevin Kolb - Huh ?? no 1st round pick, and a QB as the 1st pick ? Not
good news for
McNabb. They wouldn't have taken Kevin this high if he wasn't expected to
play soon.

San Diego -
WR Craig Davis - Was the General Manager at the Zoo on draft day ?? Davis
was projected
as a late 2nd rounder to 3rd rounder. If really wanted a WR, could have
taken
Anthony Gonzales !

Tennessee -
RB - Chris Henry - Big and strong, may see plenty of time on the field late
in
the season.
