Our take on what "impact" some of the new crop of NFL Rookies will
have on the 2008 Fantasy Football season ....

QUARTERBACKS

* Matt Ryan / Falcons- Not much of an impact to start the season, may see
signifigant playing time late. Joining a team in turmoil.

* Joe Flacco / Ravens. Will start season on bench, might start in 2009.

* Brian Brohm / Packers. No impact, will ride bench all year.

* Chad Henne / Dolphins. Going into a good situation. Will challenge Beck
by mid-season.

RUNNING BACKS

* Darren McFadden / Raiders. The next Adrian Peterson ? Has size, speed and
power ! Possible Rookie of the year.

* Jonathan Stewart / Panthers. A bruising back, but will share time in the
backfield with
Deangelo Williams.

* Felix Jones / Cowboys. Great speed, can break free. Will take a lot of
carries away from Barber.

* Rashard Mendenhall / Steelers. Powerful runner, good hands. Will most
likely be a starter early, but mostly in 3rd down situations.

* Chris Johnson / Titans. Decent speed, great hands. Going into a good
situiation.

* Ray Rice / Ravens. Not very big, but runs with power. Not much Fantasy
impact this year.

* Steve Slaton / Texans. Small, but quick back. Not much impact, at least
early in season.

WIDE RECEIVERS / TIGHT ENDS

* Donnie Avery / Rams. Lots of speed. Could already be the #3 Rams wideout.

* Devin Thomas / Redskins. Might get a lot of playing time early.

* Jordy Nelson / Packers. 122 reception last year ! But coming into an iffy
QB situation.

* James Hardy / Bills. Not much impact in 2009.

* Eddie Royal / Broncos. VERY fast, might make an early fantasy impact.

* Jerome Simpson / Bengals. Good player over the middle. Already #3 on
depth chart, and will
move up if Chad Johnson leaves.

* Deshaun Jackson / Eagles. Possible 2nd round steal.

* Limas Sweed / Steelers. Very tall, just what Rothlesberger was crying for.

* Earl Bennet / Bears. Tough player, but as is with most Rookie WR's, will
not make
much of an impact early.

* Dexter Jackson / Bucs. Speedy.

KICKERS

* None of any note.
